Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Philippines, and north to Miyakejima Japan and Taiwan, and south to Northern Australia.
Size: 4 inches (10 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered rocky cliffs in coastal reefs and shallow reef flats. Usually found at depths between 30 – 100 feet (10 – 30 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.
General Husbandry: Has a tannish body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
