Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Moluccas and the Philippines to Samoa and Tonga, north to Southern Japan, and south to southern Great Barrier Reef, Mariana and Caroline Islands in Micronesia.
Size: 4 inches (10 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits outer reef slopes and usually found at depths between 3 – 30 feet (1 – 10 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.
General Husbandry: Has an overall coppery or silvery body with a black band on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
