Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southeastern Florida, and Bermuda to Venezuela.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoon patch reefs, fore-slopes and drop-offs, and usually found at depths between 3 – 200 feet (1 – 60 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has an overall silvery pinkish body with a dark vertical bar on the aft body and also on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
