Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits mangrove areas and protected coastal bays and usually found at depths between 3 – 10 feet (1 – 3 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has a silvery transparent body with a narrow central horizontal black line. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
