Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Japan south to Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
Size: 4 inches (12 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore crevices on reef flats and coral slopes and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.
General Husbandry: Has a pale tannish body with several narrow central horizontal yellow lines. Not normally/purposely collected for the trade in 2016. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
