Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Cocos-Keeling to Fiji and Palau, north to Yaeyamas Islands, south to Indonesia.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves on outer reefs and usually found at depths between 65 – 200 feet (20 – 60 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent body with a large white spot on the frontal body, which has just above it, a small red blotch. Not normally/purposely collected for the trade in 2016. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
