Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Marquesan and Hawaiian Islands, and also the tropical Western Atlantic Ocean: Bahamas, Cozumel to Isla Providencia and Curacao.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves in outer reef slopes and usually found at depths between 15 – 200 feet (5 – 60 m) where it feeds during evening hours on crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has a pinkish body with a black horizontal eye band. As of 2016, not yet collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
