Range: Southwest Pacific Ocean: Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands and Middleton Reef in northern Tasman Sea and the southern Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected rocky reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 85 feet (10 – 25 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has a coppery body with a dark spot on the caudal peduncle. A cool water species and not collected for the trade in 2016.
