Range: Eastern Pacific Ocean: San Clemente Island to Gulf of Mexico.

Size: 5 inches - 13 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky tidepools, crevices and caves and usually found at depths between 30 – 65 feet (10 – 20 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pinkish body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
