Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Persian Gulf and reunion to West Papua, Indonesia north to Taiwan.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered coastal reefs, sometimes silty areas, and usually found at depths between 50 – 100 feet (15 – 30 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a blackish body with coppery horizontally stripes. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
