Apogon ishigakiensis

Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Japan and the Philippines.

Size: 2 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coastal reefs and often found in areas having seagrass, and usually at depths between 10 – 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a silvery yellowish body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
