Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian Islands.
Size: 5 inches (14 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky and coral reefs and found in caves and under ledges during the day and usually found at depths between 3 – 400 feet (1 – 120 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.
General Husbandry: Has a tannish orange body with many small black spots arranged in horizontal rows. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
