Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Australia.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow inshore reef caves and usually found at depths between 6 – 150 feet (2 – 45 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a silvery, somewhat pinkish body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
