Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Malaysia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.

Size: 2 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow muddy inshore reef caves and usually found at depths between 10 – 65 feet (3 – 20 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a silvery, somewhat transparent body, often with irregular horizontal black bans. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
