Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Maumere Bay Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Tonga.

Size: 1 inch (3 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoon caves and usually found at depths between 10 – 85 feet (3 – 25 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent elongated body with a black spot on the caudal peduncle and a partly red tail. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
