Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Singapore to Indonesia and Australia.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore sheltered lagoons and reefs, and found near crevices and caves during the day. Usually found at depths between 10 – 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale silvery body with very pale red in some fins. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
