Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits branching coral heads and rocky areas on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a transparent somewhat silvery body with a short horizontal yellow line on the mid-body and a black spot on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
