Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and crevices in reef lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale greyish body with numerous vertical dark lines. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
