Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea, Flores in Indonesia, and Sibvan Island in Borneo.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore coral reef caves and seaward reef slopes and usually found at depths between 30 – 130 feet (10 – 40 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has an elongated pale brownish body with several horizontal rows of dark dots. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
