Range: Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral areas in protected lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has elongated whitish body with several dark brown stripes from the snout lengthwise and also a dark spot on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
