Range: Western Indian Ocean: Gulf of Oman.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore reefs at depths between 3 to 20 feet (1 -6 m) and feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and algae.

General Husbandry: Quite drab, having a bluish black body.

Not yet collected for the hobby.
