Range: Western Central Pacific: Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal reefs and offshore platform reefs at depths between 6 to 50 feet (2 - 15 m) and feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and algae.

General Husbandry: Quite attractive, and would expect this species to soon be available in the trade. Has a whitish body with yellow on the facial area and edging the dorsal fin.

Not yet collected for the hobby.
