Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Coral Sea, New Caledonia, Rotuma, Fiji, and Tonga.

Size: 4 inches (11 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits outer reef slopes at depths between 6 to 50 feet (2 - 15 m) and feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and algae.

General Husbandry: Attractive, yet still not purposely collected for the hobby. Has a purplish blue body and yellow tail.
