Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Tuamotu Archipelago and north to Southern Japan and south to Mauritius and Austral Islands.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral reef edge areas where it forms groups at midwater levels and feeds on zooplankton.
