Range: Indian Ocean

Size: 11 inches (28 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow sandy and rubble bottoms in lagoons and protected seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 - 20 m) where it feeds mainly at benthic invertebrate and small fishes.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only yet, should it become available in the trade, aquarium husbandry is similar to P. schauinslandii.
