Range: Western Indian Ocean: Maldives.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble lagoon bottoms and usually found at depths between 40 to 100 feet (12 - 30 m) where it feeds mainly at benthic invertebrate and small fishes.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
