Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Mauritius, Christmas Island, Southern Japan, southern Taiwan, Australia, New Caledonia, Marshall Islands, Johnston Island, and Hawaiian Islands.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected lagoons and seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 - 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
