Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Somoa, north to Southern Japan, and south to New South Wales and Tonga.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky and coral rich areas in shallow protected lagoons and usually found at depths between 25 - 65 feet (8 – 20 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
