Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral rich areas in shallow protected lagoons and usually found at depths over 30 feet (10 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
