Members of this order are highly specialized plant consumers. They are usually less than 3 inches (7 cm). Of special interest is one member because it is generally available and has become known as a major algae consumer (Elysia crispate).

Some others are mentioned here because they are also capable of consuming large quantities of hair algae; unfortunately they are rarely available in the trade.
