The members in the Suborder Notaspidea, a grouping of slugs called 'Sidegill' slugs that are grazing predators, feeding upon sessile invertebrates such as sponges and sea squirts. They occupy shallow reef waters in both temperate and tropical seas. Some produce sulfuric acid as a defense mechanism. A group of slugs better left in the wild.
