Likely Fish-Only Tank Suitable

Range: Eastern and Central Pacific Ocean, and also the India Ocean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky intertidal and subtidal coastal areas.

Aquarium Suitability: Occasionally shows up in the trade attached to a coral specimen, and its somewhat calcified structure rarely remains viable. Yet, it can make a somewhat nice looking addition to the reef aquarium if supplied moderate water movement and balanced seawater parameters (calcium and alkalinity).
