Range: Central and Western Pacific Ocean, and also the Gulf of California.

Natural Environment: Inhabits deep tidepools.

Aquarium Suitability: This somewhat calcified alga is rarely available in the trade, and when available has been said to be difficult to maintain. Those having more information on its care please contact me.
